January 2018 – We staged this mid-century modern home and also gave design direction during the renovation process. It sold in 2 days near the asking price – in the midst of a January deep-freeze! The client, a well recognized Winnipeg business man, initially brought us in to only stage the house – but when we arrived to do the walk-through we immediately recognized that in its current condition the client would be leaving money on the table if he didn’t do a few simple improvements. The client immediately saw the merit in our recommendations and had us direct all of the design and renovations going forward. When all was said and done, after just $5000 of improvements following our recommendations, the realtor increased his recommended listing price by $25,000. We then fully staged each room in the house – and it SOLD in 2 days in the midst of a frigid January deep-freeze for just shy of the $350,000 asking price.
